About me
Hi, I'm Anja. I'm a UX/UI Designer, Accessibility Specialist and Frontend Developer based in Göttingen, Germany. I love thoughtful typography, clean layouts and interfaces that feel calm rather than overwhelming. My favorite part of every project isn't actually designing screens. It's asking questions, untangling complexity and helping ideas become clear.
Today I do this through my own studio einfach nice digital, where I design and build accessible websites and digital products with a strong focus on usability, sustainability and inclusion.
With a background in Applied Computer Science, I enjoy working at the intersection of design and development. I feel equally comfortable discussing information architecture with stakeholders, refining interaction details in Figma or talking semantic HTML with developers.
Why I do, what I do
I didn't start my career wanting to build accessible products. I wanted to build impressive ones.
I was fascinated by animations, technical experiments and everything that was possible on the web. Over time, my perspective changed. Instead of asking "Can I build this?", I started asking "Should I build this?"
Today I believe great design isn't about adding more. It's about removing unnecessary complexity so people can focus on what really matters.
